Whats App wants to be international cross-platform Face Time.Today, the Facebook-owned chat service Whats App is officially launching video calling for its over 1 billion users worldwide on i OS, Android and Windows Phone. The only way to activate video calling is to update your Whats App app to the latest version, which you can do via the App Store or Google Play Store if you have not configured your phone to download and install updates automatically.
To do so, you'll need to add a couple of special characters before and after whatever it is you want to format.
To bold text in Whats App, use an asterisk (*bold*); italicize text with an underscore (_italicize_); create strikethrough text with tildes (~strikethrough~). A list of contacts will populate, in order of who is using the most storage on your phone.
“For them, simplicity is really important.” The new feature will be available soon on i OS, Android and Windows phone.
Whats App lets you bold, italicize or strike through text on the fly.
